Sir Andrew Davis Cabbagetown Laneway Dedication

In case you missed it, there was a very nice event in the area on May 27 when Sir Andrew Davis was recognized for his work with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, by way of a laneway named after him. The laneway runs east off of Rose Avenue, south of Wellesley Street. Sir Davis was a Rose Avenue resident for 10 years.

Ward 28 Councillor Pam McConnell, as well as former Councillor and Mayor Barbara Hall were present (Barbara directed traffic at one point!).

We found this short online video which shows an amusing part of the ceremony (Sean to the rescue!) and features a few words from Sir Davis. Congratulations on the well-deserved honour!
