The Holiday Cards competition is a long-standing tradition in Cabbagetown. It is run in conjunction with our two local schools – Sprucecourt School and Winchester School.
Students from Grades 1 through 8 are invited to create holiday themed art, which is then judged by a panel of dedicated Cabbagetown artists.
All the winning entries are featured in the CRA Newsletter and the Cabbagetown Neighbourhood Review and are also displayed on the walls at Epicure on Parliament Street. Postcards are also delivered within Cabbagetown for residents to enjoy.
All the winning entries also get special certificates and the top prize winners from each school earn a pizza lunch for their whole class.
