Another bicycle taken from the neighbourhood. Between midnight Friday and 5 a.m. Saturday September 10 a bicycle was taken from a yard on Sackville Street near Salisbury Avenue.
The thieves broke into the locked yard, broke down the fence post that the bicycle was locked to and then used some sort of tool to cut the ring the Kryptonite lock was attached to. Another bicycle in the yard was double-locked with a locked wheel so they did not (or could not) take it.
The residents report finding the stolen bike left on the street this morning. They have notified the police of the incident.
