Crime Alert: Attempted Theft and Break-In Near Parliament and Carlton Streets

A resident living near Carlton and Parliament Streets has reported to us that, for the third time in a week someone has entered their backyard without permission. The latest incident occurred last night after 11 p.m. or this morning. Fortunately, all items were locked down and nothing stolen.

Bicycle covers were removed from (locked up) bicycles and the gate was left open despite being latched earlier. A deadbolt is now being used. The resident also noted that the screen to a rear window on the main floor had been pried open, indicating a break-in attempt.
