The CRA would like to to congratulate Rose Fine-Myer, founder of HerstoriesCafe, who has been awarded the Diamond Jubilee Medal for her work on Women’s History.

Rose Fine-Meyer, Instructor and Doctoral student in Theory and Policy Studies at OISE, was recently awarded the Diamond Jubilee Medal for her work to promote women’s history in Canada. She was also the recipient of the Governor’ General’s History award for Excellence in Teaching in 2007. The Diamond Jubilee medal was created to mark the 60th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s accession to the Throne and serves to honour significant contributions and achievements made by Canadians.
