A resident has written to us to report a vehicle break-in that took place overnight Thursday March 16/Friday March 17 as well as another incident that took place in the same area earlier in the week. This incident has been reported to Toronto Police.
For the crime section on your e-blasts. Last night my car was broken into. (We live on) Salisbury Avenue and the car was located on Yen Lane, a parallel lane way north of Salisbury. Presumably they were looking for money and fortunately there was none to be found. Our neighbours also reported this week that their car was broken into on Salisbury Avenue and the window was smashed.
Update March 19: It isn’t clear if the incidents are related, but another report of a vehicle break-in that took place on March 17 has been reported to us.
