Readers might recall us warning residents in April of scammers going door-to-door in the neighbourhood pretending to be from Enbridge. We have reecent reports from residents on Aberdeen Avenue that the scammers are now politely calling ahead of time offering free inspections of gas and water lines (when did Enbridge start providing water to homes…?). The callers already have the residents’ name and address which makes them appear more likely to be legitimate, but the truth is they are not actually calling from or representing Enbridge.
