Throwback Thursday: There Used To Be A Church Where No Frills Is Today

We might now flock there for the fresh veggies and low prices, but for a time there was a more traditional place of worship at the north east corner of Spruce and Parliament Streets.

St. Augustine’s Anglican church held its first service in 1888 and stood until a fire destroyed the building on the evening of March 26, 1931.
