We saw this great photo of Parliament Street from Sunday June 7, 1981. Toronto Archives posted the photo taken by Harvey Naylor. If you are wondering why the street looks unusually busy, the ban on retail activity due to the Lord’s Day Act and the later Retail Business Holidays Act was not lifted until June 3, 1992.
