We’ve posted some photos in the past about ice on the Don River and here’s another great photo from March 27, 1916 showing more flooding.
This photo shows the river looking north from Wilton Avenue (now known as Dundas Street). The Sheet Metal Products building in the left of the picture, was situated at the South East corner of Gerrard Street and River Street, and that’s a prior incarnation of the Gerrard St. Bridge crossing the waters.
