Residents of Cabbagetown might be interested in this report, related to Official Plan amendments and Re-zoning Application for Regent Park (File No: 13 127808 STE 28 OZ.). Toronto and East York Community Council will consider the recommendations on February 25 and March 20, 2014.
There have been two community consultations in the past year, and a number of smaller presentations where area residents were invited to provide feedback. Some reductions in building height limits were made, but the other two primary issues raised by speakers (large increase in population density, noise from the Community Energy Centre) have not resulted in any changes to the final report.
