Schools and Children

Who we are:

The Cabbagetown Residents Association (CRA) Schools Committee is lead by two board members who are interested in strengthening the ties between the parents in the Cabbagetown community and the public schools in the area.

What we do:

Our role is to gather and disseminate information about the local public schools in Cabbagetown in order to help parents make an informed decision about their children’s education.

How we do it:

We will endeavour to facilitate and strengthen the relationship between the local schools and the Cabbagetown community by:

1. Holding informal Q&A sessions with parents in the community as a way to identify those school-related issues which are of most concern to residents.

2. Interviewing the Principals and Vice Principals of the local schools to identify what information they would like to relay to parents in the community.
