Update April 22:
A resident has informed us that the shooting took place in Broadcast Lane. The Cabbagetown Residents Association board has been in contact with a number of residents concerned with this incident and are working with Toronto Police and Councillor McConnell’s office on plans to review the streetscape of this laneway to see if any improvements can be made that might improve security. We have also heard from some residents in this area that this incident is not typical and they are not concerned in general.

Also, be sure to report crimes of any severity or value to the police as they monitor these reports and assign resources accordingly.
