Two bicycles were stolen from a locked yard at a residence near Gerrard St. E. and Berkeley St. between midnight and 5 a.m. on Monday September 12. One of the bicycles has been recovered (see note below), but the other bicycle is still missing. If you see a 63 c.m. Miele with a fixed gear conversion (pictured), likely mid 80’s in vintage please contact Toronto Police at 416-808-2222 (they have been notified of the thefts).
Note from the resident about the recovered bicycle:
“Just wanted to express my gratitude to my neighbors in Cabbagetown. Last week on Sunday we had two bicycles stolen from our Yard, and yesterday, through a series of phone calls, posts and tips, we were able to recover one of the bikes (arguably the more precious of the two).
Thanks to our Community for keeping an eye out and acting selflessly. If anyone spots the second bike, pictured, do drop me a message.”
