Necropolis walking tour: Off the Beaten Path

Take a stroll through the Toronto Necropolis, one of Toronto’s oldest cemeteries, and learn about the tapestry of souls whose stories are seldom told, from former American slaves and their children, to women and immigrants. Known as the resting place for prominent Torontonians and giants of Canadian history, this cemetery was established to be non-denominational and inclusive.

The starting point is the entrance to the Necropolis, at 200 Winchester Street (east end of Winchester Street).
