Dear CRA Members,

The 43rd annual Forsythia Festival needs your help. On Sunday, May 4th hundreds of people will fill Wellesley Park for Cabbagetown’s Annual Welcoming of Spring event. This year there are many new activities including pony rides for the kids! In addition to the new activities, there will be many of the activities you have enjoyed in years past such as face painting, a bouncy castle, delicious food from Cabbagetown merchants, a beer garden and a lot more.

We are looking for volunteers to help make the 43rd Festival a great success.  It’s a fun filled day and a wonderful chance to catch up with old neighbourhood friends and meet new ones.  If you can contribute just one hour (though we wouldn’t say no to two!) of your time on Sunday, May 4th between 9:00am and 4:00pm we would be very grateful.

This Festival is for everyone who loves Cabbagetown and wants to celebrate the beginning of spring.  Please email info@cabbagetowner.com to volunteer and be a part of this fabulous spring tradition.

We’re also looking for our Festival Queen and Festival Marshal. If you know of a great Cabbagetowner who has made a positive contribution to life in the neighbourhood, please nominate them with a brief note telling us why you think they’re great.
