Toronto Police have released mobile apps for iOS and Android devices that will allow citizens to report non-emergency crimes, locate police stations and receive safety alerts and other notifications. It’s still recommended that you call 911 to report serious crimes, or crimes in progress. Versions for Blackberry and Windows Phone are expected to be available in the coming weeks.

If you wanted to report non-emergency crime the “old fashioned” way, they also have an online tool called “PRIME CORE” if you wish to report from a computer.
We’ve added links to these apps to our Other Resources page which has all sorts of great reference information.
