For residents dreaming of warmer days and splashing around in the wading pool at Riverdale Park West, here is some news of interest. The wading pool is scheduled for “state of good repair” work in 2018 (pending approval of the city’s 2018 capital budget).

It is expected that prior to work beginning, city staff and Councillor McConnell’s office will hold community consultations to hear what upgrades the community would like to see at the site, with these consultations likely happening in winter/spring 2018. We’ll keep you posted but feel free to leave comments below – I personally can’t wait for a high-diving board!
