Meeting House, Riverdale Farm
On November 17th, 2004, the recently re-established Don Vale Cabbagetown Residents Association held its first residents general meeting in over a decade and gauging by the standing room only turnout of 130 members , it was a success.
The agenda included presentations on the importance of communication for an effective residents association and also on how it will be organized. The meeting guest speakers were Alan Waterhouse, Past President of the Cabbagetown Preservation Association and Staff Sergeant Tom Kelly of the Toronto Police Service, 51 Division.
Feedback from the survey of members to help the DVCRA prioritize general issues was also provided. For more information and results of this survey please click here.
An open question and answer forum closed out the evening.
