The arrival of Spring brings many blessings, and also brings to light some “treats” that have been left by our 4-legged friends over the winter.
A couple of dozen dog owners in our neighbourhood (including our very own board member James Wood) planned to spend a few hours on Sunday, March 22nd in Riverdale Park West (upper and lower) cleaning up the thawing dog poop. Due to a bigger-than-expected turnout however, they also took care of Wellesley Park, Winchester (from Sumach to Sackville), and both Sprucecourt School boulevards on Carlton and Sumach! The volunteers worked in teams of 2, one with a shovel and one with a bag. Surgical gloves, masks and bags were provided.
On behalf of all of the residents of the area, our sincere thanks to these wonderful neighbours!
