Pedestrian hit and pinned under vehicle at Sackville and Gerrard Street East

On Tuesday April 11 at approximately 7:15 p.m., a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Gerrard Street East between Sackville Street and Gifford Street. The man who appeared to be in his 60s was pinned underneath the vehicle, until it was lifted off of him by 5 Toronto Police officers according to a witness to the incident.

The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries. According to this report, the driver was cooperating with the police investigation.
