Toronto and East York Community Council considered the matter of parking restrictions around St. Martin’s School at its May 10, 2016 meeting. To recap, residents near St. Martin’s school had questioned whether rules made for parking around the school still made sense given that the school is now used in a more limited capacity as an alternative school and for professional development.

At the May 10 meeting, the item was considered and accepted without amendment meaning that the regulations are rescinded to provide additional on-street parking spaces. It’s not clear when the signs will be replaced or changed at this point. If local residents notice the change, please let us know!
