We heard recently from Doug Fisher that Jim Lynch has retired from Jim’s Super Foto on Parliament St. Jim had been running the store for 40 years and is well known to many residents. Our best wishes to him on his next adventure, and welcome to Jessica Tower who will be running the store under the Rapid Photo banner.

Jim Lynch is retiring this week from Jim’s Super Foto (434 Parliament), the store that he’s operated for 40 years on Parliament Street. He’s long been a fixture in the Cabbagetown business community. He has strong opinions (usually right), an ever-present sense of humour and a group of loyal customers who regard him as a friend. He wants us to know that he’s always appreciated our support for his store. He sent along this nice image as a souvenir.
Rapid Photo will be running the shop in the future. The new manager is Jessica. There’ll be new equipment to handle phones and tablets more easily and a line of specialty products.
