SUMMARY:Event - Summer Garden & Tree Walk (June 19)
DESCRIPTION:Join your neighbours for a Guided Garden & Tree Walk.  This event is hosted by the Cabbagetown South Residents Association in partnership with L.E.A.F.  Jessica from L.E.A.F. will be leading this unique walk through Cabbagetown South. We will be stopping at local gardens and learning about the trees\, how to care for them and enjoying access to select gardens. (1.5 hours) \nNote: This is a rain or shine event however in the event of torrential rain conditions\, an update will be posted to the website by 12 noon and registered guests will receive an email update.    \nMeet at: 182 Seaton Street at 1:30\nWalk Begins:   2:00 PM on June 19th\nCost:  $10   Please register online.\nIncluded:   Cabbagetown  South Members & Guest will enjoy a Glass of Bubbly before the walk and be invited to our host garden on Ontario Street for an Ice Cream Cone and beverage plus a chance to mingle with neighbours and friends.     \nWhy:  Meet your neighbours and enjoy our wonderful gardens and learn about the importance of the tree canopy in Cabbagetown South.     \nL.E.A.F. is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the protection and improvement of the urban forest.  They envision a city that is healthier because every citizen cares for the urban forest.
