The traditions of “pumpkin walks” started in Sorauren Park in Toronto and we’re proud to host one in Cabbagetown for the sixth year in a row in Riverdale Park West. The jack o’lanterns (and a few uncarved pumpkins and squashs\, too) arrive from all over the neighbourhood and line up for a final\, glorious viewing before being put in a city-provided compost bin. It’s a great evening to visit with neighbours and admire everyone’s handiwork. \n
