DESCRIPTION:Upcoming event information:\nSeptember 7th 2016 Association Meeting The Local Gest Restaurant\, 424 Parliament Street\nDate: 07 Sep 2016\nTime: 7:00 PM \nAssociation Meeting New Location! \nPlease join us for our next meeting at the Local Gest Restaurant 424 Parliament Street. \nWe have moved our September meeting to Parliament Street for a small celebration and launch for the 40th Anniversary of the Cabbagetown Festival. \nWe have invited a guest speaker from The Laneway Project to give a brief presentation on what that organization has been doing to transform laneways into beautiful green and well maintained spaces.  \nIt has been a tough summer in our area and we have asked community police to join us as well for an update.   \nSome of us arrive around 6 for dinner and an opportunity to chat about what is happening in and around our neighbourhood. \n
