There have been occasional rumours of a gondola to be located in the Don Valley (usually at the end of sentence that begins “Well, if we can’t have a Downtown Relief Line, then how about a…”).
A private company called Bullwheel International Cable Car Corp. thinks that the idea is viable enough to explore, and they are having a public meeting on March 8 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Estonian House, prior to seeking approvals from the city.
The proposal is for a one kilometre gondola with three to six towers, between Playter Gardens (near the Broadview subway station) and the Evergreen Brick Works. Cable cars would leave every 15 to 30 seconds and would take approximately eight minutes to make the trip.

What time is the public meeting at Estonia House?
Hi Matt. I tried to find that information but couldn’t. I’ll update the post once I do find out.
I noticed that they’ve added the time of the meeting now. It will be from 7 – 9 pm. http://www.donvalleycablecar.com
