A resident who lives near Spruce and Sumach Streets sent us some images of someone stealing their bicycle trailer this morning.
“Hello, this morning a person stole a bicycle trailer from my front yard. We had forgotten to lock earlier this week but a sneaky person managed to snatch it after sunrise this morning. As I have had several recent attempts to steal bicycles from my front yard (evidenced by teeth marks on my bike locks), I placed a Nest Cam and got video evidence of the theft. I’ve reported it to the police. Not sure what the policy is but posting the video online could help identify the thief, who is likely responsible for other recent thefts in the area. Screenshots from the video are attached. Stolen was a grey “Croozer” brand two wheeled bicycle trailer.”
