According to a number of media outlets, at around 11 p.m. on Monday night a woman in her 60s was injured when the person who stole her vehicle ran her over. The incident occurred on Seaton Street between Gerrard Street East and Dundas Street East in Cabbagetown South. One article indicates that the victim might have suffered a broken leg. According to one report, the vehicle was left running unattended outside of a home – there are conflicting reports as to where the vehicle was later found (near George Street and Gerrard Street East and another article reads Gerrard Street East and Broadview Avenue).
