Crime alert: Vehicle licence validation sticker removed

This is something we haven’t heard of happening before. A resident on Nasmith Avenue has reported that someone removed their licence validation sticker from their vehicle plate sometime around Sunday April 10. Not driving daily, they didn’t notice this until they received a number of parking violation notices for parking on-street without a valid licence. Vehicles parked on Toronto streets without valid stickers are subject to a $40 fine.
