The 2016 schedule has been published for the City of Toronto’s Community Environment Days. We are fortunate to have three of them nearby because each ward gets one day per year – Ward 28 (April 30), Ward 27 (September 10) and Ward 30 (September 17).
Saturday April 30, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Lower Sherbourne (David Crombie Park)
Saturday September 10, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Bridgepoint Hospital (along Blue Rodeo Rd. and Bridgepoint Dr.)
Saturday September 17, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Allan Gardens
These events are convenient for residents to dispose of hazardous household waste (electronics, paint cans, cooking oil etc.), learn about many environment-friendly programs and pick up some free compost.
