For residents interested in the planning application for 227 Gerrard Street East (where the Beer Store and parking lot are located now), there will be a community consultation meeting on March 8, 2017.
Attendees can learn more about the application, ask questions and share comments. There will be a pre-meeting site visit where attendees can visit the property with City Planning staff. The rezoning application is for a new eight-storey mixed-use building with retail space on the ground floor and 99 dwelling units on the upper floors. The retail space is expected to be occupied by a Beer Store. The proposal includes 62 parking spaces located underground and 131 bicycle parking spaces.
