Riverdale Farm Stewardship – April 27 7pm

City of Toronto Community Stewardship Program : ‘Adopt A Naturalization Site’

The community stewardship run a weekly maintenance and monitoring of the lower ponds at Riverdale Farm with a group of volunteers from the local community.

Orientation Session: at Riverdale Farm on April 27th at 7pm which is open to public.
Weekly Meetings: at the Winchester Gate! Tuesdays 6:30-8pm May-September

Invitation to Public Workshop – Regent's Big Park – April 21

Invitation to Public Workshop #2 – Regent’s Big Park

The park between Oak and Dundas Streets, Sackville and Sumach Streets is being redesigned. The City of Toronto, Parks, Forestry and
Recreation staff invite you to join the design team to talk about an exciting new design for the park. This second public workshop will begin
with a presentation on the preliminary design. The design is based on the terrific input that was received during the first workshop held
in January. Following the presentation, workshop participants will be invited to join a discussion group to share thoughts about children’s
play facilities, play fields, public art and community gardens.

When: April 21, 2010 6:30 pm
Where: Regent Park Community Centre, 203 Sackville Green, Toronto
Note: interpretation and child care provided
